I finished my 5K

It was everything I thought it would be and then a little more. I've actually dreaded doing it, because everytime I run on the treadmill, it's so hard. I didn't think I could run 3.2 miles without dying. But you know what? I did it! And you know what else? It wasn't as hard as I thought. I should have known better, I prefer running outside to the treadmill anyday. Did I excel and beat all my previous time records? Nope. Not even close. In my age category (female, 30-39) I finished like 30 of 36. Not that great. Overall? About 175 of 300. My time was 39:00. So it really wasn't that great. But I am thrilled with the fact that I actually did it! If my knee didn't hurt so much, I could have gone much faster. In fact, I didn't feel like I was dying, endurance-wise. I just don't have the speed because of my injury. Will I run another 5K? I'd like to. As for the half marathon or full marathons, I don't think I could do it. At least not yet.
